SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHIC ASSISTANT

The Social Media Graphic Assistants are part-time employees for the UCLA Residential Life Integrated Media (iMedia) Team, and support the Social Media efforts for Residential Life & Studio 22/resTV. These staff members work under the supervision of the Social Media Student Supervisor, Principal Producer, Managing Producer and the Associate Director for Residential Life. *** THIS POSITION IS WORK STUDY ELIGIBLE!!

Each Social Media Graphic Assistant - (SMGA) is expected to work 10-12 hours per week during weeks 0-9 of the fall, winter and spring academic quarters.

Position Responsibilities include the following areas:

  • Attendance at Staff Meetings and Timely Submission of Bi-Weekly Timesheets.
  • Create original/royalty-free graphic images for Residential Life & Studio 22 online and print publications, digital displays, and wall postings. Development of additional motion graphics & text/credits for Studio 22 productions may be possible.
  • Develop promotional materials (i.e. logos, flyers, poster art, etc.) print, online and promotional items.
  • Adapt advertising and other materials for Residential Life and display on Studio 22/resTV(22), resTV online & digital displays
  • Maintain an accessible inventory of resources, inventory and applicable software.
  • Support departmental and university emergency response efforts, via continued operation of Studio 22 and produced content, on an as needed basis.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Pay rate: $9.50/hr
