Safety and Security Education Committee

The On-Campus Housing Safety and Security Education Committee raises awareness around many safety issues, including, but not limited to, fire prevention, earthquake preparedness, personal protection, and sexual violence. The committee offers educational programs, activities and literature, as well as responds to community concerns. We strive to instill a sense of individual responsibility for safety and security in every resident.

The Safety and Security Education Committee consists of members from several departments across campus, including the Office of Residential Life, Housing Access, UCPD, CSO Program, EMT, Student Affairs, CARE, CAPS, USAC Student Welfare Commission, CRT, Recreation, and more.
