About Employment

Each year more than 500 students enter into leadership positions within the Office of Residential Life. These students are instrumental in positively influencing the lives of the more than 13,000 residents who live on campus at UCLA.

These staff and student leaders are role models in the Residence Hall environment. They provide opportunities for residents to get together to laugh, build relationships, and learn from one another. They give advice, help mediate conflicts, and respond to emergencies. They proctor study halls, support students in the Learning Centers, design things, make things and share information. They represent residents on governing and advisory boards that address issues important to students living in On Campus Housing. They all make a difference in the lives of others!
