Timeless but non-specific blurb:
This meeting supports team training and development goals relative to our unit’s contributions to UCLA Residential Life and its mission to create safe, supportive, and inclusive living-learning communities that engage residents in the fostering of their academic success, personal growth, leadership development, and social responsibility.
Items purchased will be used for team building exercises during the training.
Blurb relevant to beginning-of-year TTDs:
The purpose of this team training and development activity is to provide orientation and onboarding for new employees, to strengthen collegial relationships amongst team members, and to foster effective communication that supports the unit’s work throughout the year.
Blurb relevant to mid-year TTDs:
The purpose of this meeting is to train and develop team members in preparation for the rest of the academic year. Participants will reflect on and assess their work in the previous quarter, build new skills, and plan for individual and collective success in the months ahead. Team leadership will establish or reiterate priorities and expectations.
Blurb relevant to EOY TTDs:
This meeting will wrap-up the academic year with a series of activities aimed to reflect on, assess, recognize, and document the efforts of the past year. This will be a transition meeting for those who are moving into new or different positions and responsibilities, and an opportunity for team leadership to share information relevant to end-of-year responsibilities and expectations.
Items purchased will be used for an end of year scrapbooking activity.
